Ky-Mani Marley, born in Falmouth Jamaica on 26th February 1976 is among the many of the most well-known and wealthy Reggae artists. He starred in the legendary film Shottas with another famous singer Wyclef Jean. Ky-Mani was signed to Shang Records for his 1996 debut album Like Father Like Son album and singles such as Judge Not (with Patra), Dear Dad", (which was the number one British reggae chart) as well as"Who the Cap (remix), Sensimelia and more all added to the growing recognition of his new generation reggae music. Ky-Mani and Praswell, of the Fugees joined together in 1997 to create Avenue the cover version of Eddy Grant's Electric Avenue. Marley performed in Midem (international music showcase) during its time at Miami for the first time.
