Rosalia Vila also known as Rosalia is the Spanish flamenco and pop performer. As a teen, Rosalia has explored the outskirts of both pop and traditional music. Pepe Haichuela, a flamenco guitar and famous musician has described the sound of this young artist as sharp with sweetness however with a bite. El Mal Querer was her big commercial and critical hit in 2018. The single Los Angeles garnered her attention as well as a Latin Grammy Nomination for Best New Artist and it was a top hit on Billboard's Latin Pop Albums and she was awarded the Grammy. La Fama featuring Weeknd debuted in 2021. Motomami came out as her third album that was full-length. The album featured songs written in collaboration with other musicians and producers, such as Cory Henry. The album was released on March 20, 2022 after a performance of the song Chicken Teriyaki on Saturday Night Live. Rosalia has become the only Spanish artist to have performed in a solo performance on the show. Along with taking home three more Latin Grammy Awards for Motomami Rosalia, she also became the first woman to win the Latin Album of the Year twice.
